What Not to Do

NOTE: This is not my design--I'm using it as an example.

It is slightly difficult to see here, but I would like to point something out. Whoever created this wallpaper did a great job (the original wallpaper) The original DID NOT have the gun in the picture. As you can see, the gun is largely out of proportion with Ben Wade's face and body.

If you are going to photoshop something that wasn't into the picture, and add it into the picture, remember a few things.
1) make sure the new object is in proportion with the rest of the picture
2) make sure it has the same lighting (here it's not bad)
3) if the rest of the image has clean, sharp edges, the new object must have clean edges also; other wise it is obvious that something is wrong
But to whoever added the Hand of God into the picture, it was a nice touch.
